CERTIFICATES of RECOGNITION
The
Taigishinkan is an umbrella association, that is a multidisciplinary
and multistyle school, for example we also train students in the Shodo; it is a small school that unites seriously
passionate people and it is not for profit but only for the purpose of
studying and disseminating martial arts according to traditional canons
and related culture.
The certifications issued by the Taigishinkan do
not refer to specific traditional ryu-ha, this would be meaningless and disrespectful
to the teachers of the person requesting the certification. The
certificate of recognition is a ratification and it aims to recognize the value of that person as a budoka,
only after presentation of the documentation and if necessary a
practical test. The Taigishinkan recognizes the technical, cultural and
moral value of that person in a discipline but not in a specific traditional style: who
would we be to judge a person in a specific style? With more than thirty
years of martial arts behind me and thanks to the Japanese advisers masters, however, the Taigishinkan can understand if a budoka has really practiced a given discipline or not and if he has a culture
about it, anyway his previous degrees speak for him. All this, moreover,
considering that the great majority of us have a varied background and
not necessarily in a single ryu-ha, for which the certification is issued
following the general criteria now widespread all over the world. The
certification ultimately aims to unify the members of the Taigishinkan
under the same vision of values and directives, in order to be able to
all follow the same path and work in unison for the study and
dissemination of Budo / Bujutsu.
NOTE
✔️ If a person want to receive a specific rank - Dan, for example in Koyamaryu Kobujutsu, he should study the program
under the kancho and undergo upon test, after which he would receive the
specific certification in Koyamaryu Kobujutsu Taigishinkan.
✔️ If a person wishes to receive recognition of his own ryu-ha (style), i.e. the method of his own creation, he must first receive ratification of his rank in that specific discipline (minimum rank required 5th Dan Shihan), after which he must present a detailed technical program with relative report of the ryu-ha, a technical demonstration video may also be requested.
All certificates are handwritten by Prof. Bonanno and show the original seals of the Taigishinkan, the applicant also will receive the certificate in jpg format in HD.
