Samurai Heiho
Prof. Bonanno is Shidoin in Nihon Jujutsu, registered under the International Martial Arts & Culture Federation (Osaka), federation endorsed by the Ministry of State for Special Missions of Japan, thanks his background in the jujutsu art. Over the years, he has explored various styles, starting with the modern style Shorinjiryu Jujutsu (ISJF), continuing with the military Combat Jujutsu system while enlisted in the Carabinieri Force, continuing with Daitoryu Aikijujutsu (Renshinkan) up to shodan, and then with Mondoryu Heiho family style of M. Yokoyama Sensei, to which he combined tojutsu, receiving his Samurai Heiho license from the Armored Samurai Battle Association of Osaka. In 2013, he also began studying Toyamaryu Iaido Morinaga-ha and served as the Italian Shibu-cho of the Zen Nippon Toyamaryu Iaido Kyokai. He is currently studying Negishiryu shurikenjutsu e ninpo taijutsu Myoushinkan under Y. Hayasaka Soke.
The Samurai Heiho of Taigishinkan is a system that contemplates the study of taijutsu techniques, and some buki waza such katana, jo, shuriken, etc.. All fighting tactics derive from koryu schools, examples of which of particular interest are: Mondo-ryu, Negishi-ryu, Toyama-ryu, Yamamoto-ryu, etc. and there is also a study dedicated to shinobi strategies interconnected with some of these schools.
